Shiva: I am a Tamilian born and raised in Chennai with some touch points in Bangalore as well, and now for more than 20 years in New Jersey, USA. I have been singing as long as I could remember; underwent formal carnatic music training for few years. Obviously, music is very dear to my heart with deep family roots leading right up to Thiruvaiyaru (birth place of Thyagaraja Swamigal, also considered as Mecca of carnatic music).
